Partnership with Children's Wishing Well

This June Holidays, we had a group of Primary 5 and 6 students from Children's Wishing Well (CWW) participating in our 3-day holiday booster programme where they sharpened their skills on must-know math concepts and learnt through fun activities.

Visualisation based on a challenging PSLE math question

Firstly, we applaud CWW's efforts to train their students to be independent and critical thinkers. Students were able to grasp math concepts taught to them well and apply them in relevant questions. When faced with challenging problem sums, they were bold to attempt, learnt from their mistakes and were proactive in clarifying their misconceptions. At the end of the programme, they each summarised and reiterated three new concepts that they have learnt.

To put their learning into practice under a light-hearted setting, our holiday programme featured an 'Among Us-themed' Treasure Hunt where students raced to solve six rounds of math concept puzzles and uncover the mystery item. Winners walked away with a free Mr Coconut drink voucher.

At UNBOXED, we believe no classes are boring and we constantly strive to create a vibrant relaxed environment for our students to learn and collaborate. These holiday classes were filled with laughters and a meaningful exchange of experiences. We are delighted to hear that CWW students had fun while sharpening their math concepts and skills!

After-class fun!

Hear what they have to say...

"Thank you so much UNBOXED team for extending this precious opportunity to our students at CWW. Our children had a wonderful time reinforcing their Math concepts, in a fun and engaging manner, while making new friends at the centre! Our kids particularly enjoyed the interactive Treasure Hunt station games and of course the delicious free-flow snacks and drinks at your pantry ;) We look forward to future collaborations!"

- Rebecca Xavier, Senior Executive of Children's Wishing Well

We wish all P6s the very best for their PSLE and look forward to seeing the students again!
